Lottery

Learning Gate Community School is a tuition free, A rated, public charter school of choice and is open to students in the Tampa Bay area in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Tours of the Learning Gate campuses are scheduled throughout the school year so prospective parents and students can learn more about the school and its culture.

The lottery for the 2018-2019 school year has been completed. Any applications received after March 2, 2018 will be placed on the waitlist for the grade level submitted. You will be contacted if an opening becomes available.

Applications for the 2019-2020 school year will be accepted from August 1, 2018 up to February 25, 2019 at 4:00 pm. When the number of student applications exceeds the number of available seats, we hold a lottery. The 2019-2020 Learning Gate lottery will take place on Friday March 8, 2019. If there are more applications than there are openings, students will be placed on the school’s waitlist.
