Learning Gate Community School is a tuition free, A rated, public charter school of choice and is open to students in the Tampa Bay area in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Tours of the Learning Gate campuses are scheduled throughout the school year and posted on the schools website homepage giving prospective parents and students the opportunity to learn more about the school and its culture.

The application period to apply for the 2019-2020 school year lottery has ended. The lottery will be held on March 8, 2019. All applications completed on the website for the 2019-2020 school year after the due date will be place on the waitlist for the grade level submitted in order of arrival after the lottery takes place. You will be contacted if an opening becomes available.

Applications for the 2020-2021 school year will be accepted from August 1, 2019 up to February 28, 2020 at 4:00 pm. When the number of student applications exceeds the number of available seats, we hold a lottery. The 2020-2021 Learning Gate lottery will take place on Friday March 6, 2020. If there are more applications than there are openings, students will be placed on the school’s waitlist.

Please make sure you place an application for each student for each year applying for.

All applicants will be notified by email of their acceptance or placement on the waitlist within 10 days of the Lottery. Student information cannot be given out over the phone.

    Family Commitment: We have reviewed the Program Policies and understand the responsibilities we accept if we are offered a position at LGCS. I further agree to complete no less than 30 volunteer hours and 10 parent education hours during each year enrolled at LGCS.
